Innovation in faux leather production

The idea of production eco-leather from apples was born in Tyrol (Italy) - one of the biggest producer of apples in the world. To reduce amount of not used food-production waste Pellemela was developed.

Pellemela is a leather substitute which is made of 50% recycled apple fibre and 50% polyurethane.

The main advantage for fashion industry is that faux leather has the same characteristics as the real one and could be personalized in a different ways. The material is ecological, durable and Vegan.
